Not to be missed is also the beautiful monastery of Sinaia, built and named by Mihai Cantacuzino, after a visit at Mount Sinai. The program continues with trekking in one of the most pitoresque areas of Baiului Mountains: Piscul Cainelui. Our route follows the trail through the forest, uphill, and after an hour we will get to a lovely meadow where things begin to unravel: stunning views of Bucegi, hills, thick forests… The trail goes on the ridge offering great perspectives to the left…t o the right… The scenery is very much bucolic… sheepfarms, cows, sheep… like the life in the countryside. From the ridge we have a few options to get off the mountain, and one of the most beautiful is going down to Cumpatu sheepfarm, and then to Sinaia, through the forest.
